Palmer’s have reapplied for planning permission to site 4 Shepherd’s Huts, a 4x toilet/4x shower block and an extended car parking/turning area in the garden at the Hare and Hounds Public House in Waytown. Whilst the layout has been altered slightly the scope of the application is very similar to the one that was submitted in 2017. The last proposal attracted a lot of comments and as comments have to be submitted by May 12th, I wanted to make sure people had the opportunity to express any opinion they wished to be considered by the planning officer. Comments made to the previous application will not be considered for this renewed submission by Palmer’s. The link to the new Dorset Planning Portal for this application can be found at: https://planning.dorset.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=DCAPR_138052

Alternatively, please print off the attached PDF Summer schedule. Participation is key to a successful show so enter any vegetable or flower that you have managed to cherish through first the Beast from the East and then the summer drought. Also, see how your baking skills shape up in our own village bake-off; there are children’s category’s too, so all the family can be involved. In addition to entering, come along to Netherbury Village Hall and admire the entries displayed in all their glory and enjoy tea and home-made cake as the results are announced.
