24 June, Friday - The Taming of the Shrew, 7pm at The Mill House, Netherbury – Tickets £8 Adult/£4 child/£20 family (2 adults/3 children) in advance or £10 Adult/£5 child/£25 family (2 adults/3 children) on the night.
25 June, Saturday - The Netherbury Players present 3 One Act Plays at the Village Hall – 7 pm for 7.30 pm, £3.50 in advance, £4.00 at the door.
26 June, Sunday- Beaminster Festival, Roald Dahl’s, THE FANTASTIC MR FOX, by the Illyria Open Air Theatre Co. Slape Manor.
1 July, Friday - Midsummer Buffet. A 3 course buffet for £8 at Netherbury Village Hall, BYO, 7.15pm for 7.30 pm. l.
19 July, Tuesday - Village Lunch at Netherbury Village Hall, 12.00 – 13.30, £5 per person
24 July, Sunday - Netherbury Playing Field Fun Day - Lots of games and activities for all the family, 2pm start
26 July, Tuesday, - Netherbury Parish Council Meeting, 7.30 pm at Salway Ash Village Hall.
4 August, Thursday - Netherbury Wildlife Walk - starting from The Hare and Hounds, 6 pm
6 August, Saturday - Summer Show at the Village Hall, 3.00 – 4.30pm. Flowers, Vegetables, Eggs, Fruit, Cookery, Handicrafts. 50p entrance (which includes tea/biscuits).
10 September, Saturday – The Brandon Plot work morning at 10.00am.
13 September, Tuesday - Village Lunch at the village hall, 12.00 – 13.30. £5 for 3 course and tea/coffee.
16 September, Saturday - Blagovest at 7.30 pm in St Mary’s Church, Netherbury. Tickets £10.
24 September, Saturday - Moviola, Beneath Hill 60, village hall, 7.30 pm for 8pm start. Tickets £5 in advance otherwise £5.50.
27th September, Tuesday, 7.30 pm - Parish Meeting Salway Ash.
30 September, Friday - Mandy Alford hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Shepherds Crook, Netherbury, 10.30am.
6 October, Thursday – Talk with Tea, the Lewesden poet Dr William Crowe with John Roberts, 2.30pm at Netherbury Village Hall, £3 to include tea and cake.
8 October, Saturday – “THE WILDLIFE OF NETHERBURY” a photographic presentation by Colin Varndell, 7.30pm, Village Hall, £5.00. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Nikki Bareham (Tel 01308 488036), Susy Varndell (Tel 01308 488341) or at the door from 7.00pm. Proceeds to Friends of the Church.
15 October, Tuesday - Harvest Lunch at the village hall, 12.00 – 13.30. £5 for 3 courses.
3 November, Thursday –Talk with Tea, Fabulous Fungi with Brian Godfrey, 2.30pm at Netherbury Village Hall, £3 to include tea and cake.
4 November, Friday –Bonfire Night, at Netherbury Playing Field, 7.00 pm bonfire will be lit and fireworks start at 7.30 pm. Bring your fireworks or give a donation and join in the fun. There will be mulled cider, a bar and BBQ.
13 November, Sunday – Remembrance Day. 10.15 am wreath laying ceremony at the War memorial on Church Hill; 10.30 am Remembrance Day Service at St Mary’s Church.
19 November, Saturday - Church Bells Appeal Coffee Morning at the village hall.
19 November, Saturday - Moviola, Bridesmaids at the village hall, 7.30 pm for 8pm start. £5 in advance, £5.50 at the door.
1 December, Thursday – Talk with Tea, Hooke Springs Trout Farm with Robert Smith, 2.30pm at Netherbury Village Hall, £3 to include tea and cake.
3 December, Saturday - Christmas Dinner at the village hall. £8 for 3 courses.
10 December, Saturday - Coffee Morning at St Mary’s Church, 10.00am – 12.00. Cakes and Bring & Buy.
14 December, Wednesday - Christmas Bingo at the village hall, 7.15 doors open, 7.30pm eyes down.
22 December, Thursday - The Village Celebration of Christmas at Netherbury Village Hall, 7.30pm. Free admission, mulled wine and mince pies-retiring collection for village funds). Organised by Colin and Susy.
23 December, Friday - Carols in The Square (in the Village Hall if it is raining), 7 pm.
31 December, Saturday - New Years Eve Party at the village hall in aid of Netherbury Village Hall, Playing Fields and The Friends of St Mary. Buffet, bar and music to see in the New year between 8pm-12.30am. Ticket only event - £7.50.
31 December, Saturday - ‘Watchnight Service in St Mary’s Church, 11.30 pm
